Information
Here is some information on the history of the Machine:
The van was purchased in 2011 from its original owner, who ordered it from the factory in 1967. The van was used to transport tires from the distributor to the owners tire store. The order for the van did not include a passenger seat because the owner could haul more tires without it.
I found the van on Craigs list and talked with the extremely nice owner that hauled it to Kankakee from Chicago. I purchased the van and had to trailer it 200 miles home.
While loading the van for transport home, I was approached by a man that wanted to purchase the van. I told him that this van had a plan and I wanted to see it through.
This is what started the transformation to what we have today...
